Eden's Timeline

1994 -

April 23rd: Eden Valencia Alexander is born to a young, unready couple that left her on the steps of a church; she is given to CPS to be processed and put into foster care.

July 13th: Eden is adopted by a single woman, Carla Hammond - age 30, who raised the girl in Cleveland, Ohio until she was 5 years old.

1999 -

July:

13th: Mama Carla, as Eden called her, suddenly and mysteriously dies at the age of 35, on the very same day that Eden was adopted five years earlier.

16th: Eden was found three days later and taken back to CPS and put back into state custody.

19th: Autopsies showed nothing to explain Carla's unexpected death; Eden was barely allowed to attend the funeral. All Eden has left to remember Mama Carla by is a few pictures of the woman and a few pictures of them together.

September 1st: Eden, who then spoke very little after Carla's death, is adopted by a couple in their late 30's - Jackie and Fredrick Gleason - that lived in Akron, Ohio. The couple also had another adopted girl, Emma Stahl - age 7, that had already been with them for a year. Emma immediately disliked Eden for many reasons, but especially because of Eden's unique eyes.

2000 -

August 4th: They moved from Akron, Ohio to West Virginia when Fredrick was offered a better job. During the time just before and directly after the move, Emma began to act out and get Eden into a lot of trouble with the Gleason's, who seemed to favor her over Eden, and would pick on her and hit and throw things at her for no reason.

2001 -

April:

22nd: The Gleason's handed Eden over to CPS a day before her 7th birthday, following the girl's 'sudden' enraged outburst on Emma, who had been continuously terrorizing the mostly silent Eden for some time through both verbal and physical ways. Eden had finally been provoked to the point she'd had enough and attacked her adopted sister and the Gleason's refused to have a 'violent' child in their home, completely unaware or simply uncaring that Emma had been teasing, taunting, and physically harming Eden for little to no reason.

25th: Eden is transferred back into foster care in Cleveland, Ohio.

June 27th - December 30th: Eden is shuffled through five temporary homes; she doesn't remember the names of the families.

2002 -

February 6th: Eden is adopted by a single and independently wealthy woman, Elizabeth Simms - age 46, and taken to live in Minerva, Ohio.

May 14th: Elizabeth suddenly becomes very strict on Eden, acting more like a prison warden than an adoptive mother and demanding everything the girl did to be 'perfect' to her standards.

June - November: Elizabeth slowly began to introduce punishment for every mistake Eden made, trying to ensure that things were done as she expected; the girl often had red palms and a red rear end from being smacked with a ruler when things weren't up to standard. Elizabeth would also lock the girl in her room and withhold her evening meal if Eden's work wasn't satisfactory enough.

December:

19th: Eden made a call to her social worker after getting a severe belt beating from Elizabeth due to two low grades in school.

20th: Investigations were done into the allegations, but since there were no marks on Eden and Elizabeth made sweet assurances to the social worker that the girl was perfectly fine, everything was dropped.

2003 -

Throughout the year: Eden's punishments became even more severe, typically leaving bruises and scratches. On many occasions Eden would call her worker to tell her about the abuse. However, Elizabeth always said that Eden received the marks from falling or some other accidental way, claiming that the girl was very clumsy and accident prone.

2004 -

January 21st: Eden's personal home tutor/teacher accidentally discovers the bruises on her and coaxes the quiet girl into telling her what happened. The teacher makes the call to CPS to have her removed from Elizabeth's home and Elizabeth is arrested and tried for child abuse.

February - December: Eden is once again shuffled through a number of short-term homes, many of which that left her with more bruises and the beginnings of verbal and emotional abuse.

2005 -

January & February: Eden is kept in foster care while waiting to hear about being adopted.

March 28th: Eden is adopted by a couple in their early 30's, Catherine and Thomas Adams, that lived in Toledo, Ohio. By this point, Eden very rarely said anything.

April - December: Catherine and Thomas both tried to get 11-year-old Eden to speak and communicate, though they grew frustrated when she continued to remain closed off and mostly silent. They eventually began to give up when they realized they weren't getting through to her and they treated her as if she didn't really exist after that, unless she did something wrong in which they verbally lashed out at the girl.

2006 -

January 11th: While on their way home from a 'family' dinner out, Catherine and Thomas's car hit some ice on the road and caused them to wreck. Eden was the only one to miraculously make it out of the wreck with barely a scratch. Catherine died on impact and Thomas was left in a coma. Eden was taken the next day and placed into foster care once again.

February - May: Eden is kept in foster care while waiting for potential adopters. She turns 12 that April.

June: A couple in their 40's, Marla and Jacob Smith, adopt Eden and take her off to Cincinnati, Ohio. From the moment they came to take her to their home she knew something was off about them, even trying to tell her worker who brushed it off and assured the girl everything was fine and that the Smith's were good people. Once at home they forced the girl to take the attic as her room, which was too hot in the summer and was far too cold in the winter.

2007 -

February: The strange occurrences began. The Smith's began to keep Eden locked in the attic for days on end and without food or allowing her to come down to use the bathroom or bathe.

Throughout the rest of the year: They would fix foods that they knew Eden wouldn't eat and would refuse to give her anything else to eat, so she would go without food. They would give her clothing that was too small to comfortably wear just because they liked seeing how uncomfortable she was and forced her to wear it; many times they would take pictures of her when she was dressed in the too-small clothing. If she spoke without addressing them as ma'am or sir or by their names every time she spoke they would slap or whip her. They eventually forbid her to speak to them unless she was spoken to first, no matter what. If she did then she was beaten for it. And one time Eden caught them doing drugs and dealing the drugs and they both went after her when they realized she had seen them; Eden literally couldn't sit down for days and one of her eyes were swollen completely shut.

December: Eden tries to run away. The police are called and Eden is taken back. However, Eden told them about the drugs in the house. Come to find out it was the biggest drug bust all year. Eden was put back into foster care.

2008 -

January & February: Eden is shuffled through more temporary homes.

March: Eden is adopted by a single woman in her late 30's, Melinda Shawl, and taken to live in Weston, Ohio. Eden was wary of Melinda, fearing she would be abused and mistreated some more. However, Melinda actually seemed fairly nice towards the girl. Eden lives with Melinda for several months and was slowly warming up to the woman until Melinda reconnects with a man that she wants to date. However, the guy refuses to be with her until she gets rid of Eden - as he wasn't very child friendly.

July: Eden is put back into foster care and spends a couple of weeks in a temporary foster home.

August: Eden is adopted by a couple in their 40's, Maria and Nathan Stanton, and taken to Columbus, Ohio. She realizes very quickly that her foster father is a raging alcoholic and her foster mother works almost around the clock in the ER, mostly just to stay away from her abusive drunkard of a husband. How Eden even got adopted to this couple was a mystery, though Eden believes that it was probably because the workers were just tired of seeing her in and out of foster care and no longer cared where she was placed, as long as she wasn't floating around in their offices or state owned homes.

September: The various types of abuse that she will suffer from Nathan begin.

2009 -

Throughout the year: Eden is subjected to all kinds of physical, verbal, and emotional abuse by her alcoholic foster father Nathan. Many times he would lock her in her room or in the basement for no reason or because he would have women that weren't his wife coming over. And if she even looked at him the wrong way or spoke without him speaking to her first he would take his belt, or anything in his reach really, and whip/beat her until she either managed to get away or he got bored. He would also yell at her, tease her, cuss at her, and throw things at her. It wasn't uncommon for her to have bruises on top of bruises and cuts littering her legs and arms.

2010 -

June: Eden finally has enough of the abuse and plans to run away. She is attacked by her drunken foster father and his friends, who planned to rape her, though she was 'saved' just in time after a neighbor called the cops after hearing Eden's screams. Even with her back sliced open (resulting in the three raised scars stretching down her back) and pouring blood, Eden grabbed some of her things and took off before any paramedics or authorities could speak to her or help her. They figured with her wounds and loss of blood that she probably just died and didn't bother to look for her. Her foster father and his friends were all arrested for what they had done to her and all did time in jail. It was a miracle that she didn't die from her wounds and blood loss.

- Eden spends the rest of the year wandering, avoiding any big cities, and trying to survive on her own. Nothing else to note.

2011 -

- Eden spends the year wandering, avoiding any big cities, and trying to survive on her own. Nothing else to note.

2012 -

August:

Sometime early to mid-August (Exact date unknown): Eden wakes up disoriented and in an unknown city, with no memory or knowledge of how she arrived or who might have brought her. Upon a little investigating she discovers the name of the city she was in that she'd never heard of before - Ravenblack. It didn't take long before she found herself in the Tavern, which she visited every day for a week before someone finally took notice of her. Eden's first two friends in Ravenblack were Azerri and Helix.

Sometime around the second to last week of August (Exact date unknown): Azerri is the one that introduced Eden to Trace, who would change Eden's entire life forever. The same night that Eden met Trace, he offered to give Eden a place to stay and be safe upon discovering she was homeless. And so began the point where Eden's life would start to change in many ways.

September:

3rd: Trace gifts Eden with her mare, Hunny Badger, as an early siring gift. The mare has two differently colored eyes just like Eden does.

      4th: Trace sires Eden.

October:

3rd: Eden admits to having feelings for Trace, then finds out he wants to give Rile a chance.

November:

30th: Trace severs Eden after she publicly slaps Rile in the Tavern, after discovering Trace and Rile eloped and got bound, and after destroying the apartment she shared with Trace.

December:

1st: Rile begins her attack on Eden in the City in an effort to zero the girl. However, Rile is soon talked into stopping the attack and Eden continues on with her Celerity 3 quest.

4th: Eden gets her own apartment, although Trace pays her rent.

      20th: Trace re-sires Eden.

26th: Trace officially collars Eden as his submissive as her Christmas gift.

2013 -

January:

22nd: Eden shows signs of what appears to be the beginning of the flu.

23rd: Eden admits herself to the hospital when her flu-like symptoms get worse and she can't keep any food down. While at the hospital she continues to get worse; the doctors aren't able to figure out what's wrong with her.

30th: Eden calls upon someone close to her, wanting someone she knows there at the hospital. She then finds out that she is pregnant. She is told that it is an accelerated pregnancy, due to the nature of the father, and that her human body can't sustain the pregnancy without taking her life before she could even dream of delivery. Her only options are to either terminate the pregnancy, which she fully refuses to do because of her dream to have a family, or be Turned. She leaves the hospital, sick and weak with literally very little time left to live before the baby drains the rest of her life force and kills her. She immediately runs to Trace to beg him to turn her, to which he agrees and takes her human life. She leaves his apartment with her gnawing hunger and in search of people to feed on.

31st: Eden flees the City without giving Trace any answers to his questions or a forewarning and without speaking of her condition, not wanting anyone to know of the pregnancy aside from the one single person that already knew.

February:

3rd: Trace severs Eden, after her sudden departure, for the second time. Eden decided then that she wasn't going to return to the City for quite a while for any reason. She even refused to speak to anybody, completely cutting off all contact with everyone.

28th: Eden meets Valdemar in Germany when he accidentally knocks her down.

March: Eden ï»¿ï»¿spends all of this time traveling around Europe, refusing to go back to the City and refusing to speak to most. Near the end of the month she buys her home in Germany and buys herself a bike for when she was able to ride.

April:

10th: Eden makes her first official return to Ravenblack since leaving. She signs herself up for the Slave Auctions, knowing she would be good to go pregnancy and health-wise by the time the Auctions rolled around.

13th: Eden is ambushed by hunters while she is out on a hunt. The attacks put her under severe stress as well as harming her physically, the silver-tipped bolts having hit her all along her left side ranging from her ribs down along to her lower abdomen. Several of them hit too close to the baby. The unborn child is put in distress as the silver did its job on mother and child both and Eden knows that he isn't going to make it, so the girl claws herself open to get him out, wanting to see him and hold him at least once. He survives for 30 minutes before passing away in her arms. Eden then spends the next 24 hours on a revenge rampage, taking out as many hunters as she could - without using any discretion - before a mysterious stranger interrupted her, taking her away from her last kill just as she collapsed, right before more hunters swarmed the area to try and capture or kill her.

Between 15th and 18th: Eden gets her son's initials tattooed beneath the lowest bolt scar. She also begins drinking heavily and locks down the room at the end of the hall from her own, which was meant to be Grayson's.

      19th: Binx sires Eden.

20th: Just after midnight Eden finally finds the courage to tell Trace about Grayson, also breaking the bad news. Trace and Eden bury Grayson in the olive orchard beneath the Christo tree late that night.

23rd: Eden spends the entire 24 hours of her 19th birthday in self-imposed solitary confinement, locked in the dark in the basement of her home in Germany.

24th: TooL gives Eden her Latin title - Umbra Eden Ailios. Azerri begins her move into Eden's home later that night. Eden's feeding and eating starts to become erratic.

25th: Eden begins experimenting with several illegal drugs and abusing a variety of prescription drugs, wanting to be numb after the death and burial of Grayson and finding out that Trace got bound. Her drinking also increases. Nobody is aware of the drug use, as she keeps it under wraps when she isn't keeping herself away from others, and the extent to her heavy alcohol consumption isn't fully recognized either. Hunters also break into her City apartment and try to torch it in an effort to lure her out, wanting to capture her and get revenge for her revenge killings.

26th: By this time her feeding and eating become extremely sporadic to the point of not happening at all and she is unable to keep her strength or heal like she should.

29th: Trace finds a beaten up, bruised, and bloody Eden passed out at Grayson's grave and quickly discovers her drug use secret, being the first and only person to know, and finds that she hasn't been eating or feeding at all. He accompanies her to her home after she gets sick to make sure she makes it back safely.

May:

1st: Eden gets an alteration to the tattooed initials of her son, adding on '-C.' to make it G.J.A-C. instead.

3rd: Eden begins to have auditory and visual hallucinations of a young male child, whom she assumes to be her deceased son as an older child; however, only some of the auditory hallucinations consist of a baby crying while the rest is the voice of the older child that she converses with. She isn't sure if it is her grief, her drug and alcohol use, or if she is just losing it that is making her see and converse with the boy and hear the baby crying, but she attributes all of the above and finds it very bittersweet.

19th: Eden meets Leo Del Nok in the Tavern when he approaches her.

26th: Leo becomes Eden's Master when he officially claims her as his slave.

June:

Eden slowly gets herself detoxed from drugs and is completely (and proudly) clean near the end of the month.

July:

8th: Eden reconnects with Valdemar, whom she met in Germany in February. She was very surprised to see him in the Tavern, not realizing that he was also a citizen of Ravenblack until he told her. They spend some time playing catch up.

17th: Eden first meets JasenAltair in the Tavern.

19th: After discovering that Leo was polygamous and that she wasn't the only person he was with, and him realizing she wasn't okay with it, he releases Eden as his slave. Shocked and upset, she left the Tavern. Her Maker takes the time to comfort her and ensure she gets home safely.

21st: While spending time talking to Jasen in the tavern, Eden learns that he is staying in a motel while looking for a job and a better place to stay. Being the big-hearted girl she is, she offers to let him stay in her apartment for free since she never stays there anymore.

30th: Eden escorts Jasen to her apartment inside the City, which she had offered a week before to let him to stay at, free of charge, until he got on his feet. While there she realizes for the first time that he is human. She almost attacks him as an overwhelming and strange surge of hunger gripped her. Fortunately she stopped herself when she realized what was happening and when she realized she had scared the man. After fervently reassuring him that he was safe to stay in the apartment, that she wasn't just letting him stay there to use as a meal, she hands over a set of keys so that he was able to come and go as he pleased.

August:

4th: A slightly tipsy Eden approaches a very surprised Leo Del Nok. After a short conversation and Eden answering Leo's questions, they return to their previous relationship as Master and slave.

8th: Leo surprises Eden with a dainty stainless steel 16" chain with a large oval platinum locket pendant , with the letters 'LDK' engraved in elegant script on the front; a pretty present for her and to show his claim on the girl until the time that he obtained a collar for her.

21st: To Eden's surprise, Leo has her remove the chain he gave her and he manipulates it into a beautiful black leather collar for her. The thick steel ring on the front holds the pendant engraved with his initials. She wears the collar proudly.

September:

3rd: In the early hours of the morning Eden gets jolted awake painfully. She knew in an instant what it was. She didn't want to believe it even though she could no longer reach her Maker through telepathy or even feel him through their link. The knowledge that Trace went dead and buried took her breath and she was left with what felt like a giant weight in her chest where a giant, gaping, bloody hole had been ripped open.

4th: After adamantly defending Trace and his memory in the paper, being threatened, and unable to continue seeing the cruel and hurtful things people were saying, Eden disappeared without a word to anyone.

7th: Eden is officially labeled as D&B, though she is only mysteriously missing for the time being. However, with the self-destructive path she has quickly found herself upon it will only be a matter of time before she joins her Maker in true death.

8th: Eden's D&B status is posted in the paper for all to see.

There is still a lot on this timeline that still needs to be added and some things that do still need to be edited.

So check back at a later time to see the finished areas.

Also keep in mind that there will be new changes that will come along as important things happen in Eden's life.
